DFW Real Estate

According to an article in the Dallas Morning News yesterday Dallas home prices have dropped 3.3% from a year ago. Comparatively speaking, the Dallas market is actually doing well as sales prices have dropped 14% nationwide. If you take an average home selling for $150k, according to the article that home is selling for $4950 less in the Dallas area than one year ago. Sellers should keep in mind that while they may take a little less in the sell of their property they are most likely buying another and paying less than they would have a year ago as well. More or less look at the big picture. If you are considering selling your property NOW is the best time to get it on the market. We are right on the brink of summer and it's the best time of year for moving real estate. Many people move over the summer while kids are out of school, and it's not in the middle of any holiday season. Contact your realtor to find out what the current market value is for your home. Terri Pescatore and Jane Avrit are experienced realtors with over 23 years in the business selling an average of 100 homes a year. Making sure you choose the right realtor to represent you is one of the most important steps to ensure you get the most out of your home with the current market conditions. Terri Pescatore and Jane Avrit make a point to fully explain the process of selling your property from preparing the property to finding the buyer.

DFW Real Estate

With all of the hype in the news about how bad the housing market is, it's no wonder buyers are afraid of making a puchase. However, according to a recent article in the Dallas Morning News, it looks like Dallas-Fort Worth is a good place to build some equity. Luckily DFW was not part of the housing bubble that other states such as California experienced. That has kept the real estate market here relatively stable compared to the markets in those cities that had big price increases in recent years. The DFW area is ranked among the top five markets expected to do well between now and 2012. Buyers puchasing now while the market is not at it's peak could very well experience having equity built in just a few years from now. Terri Pescatore and Jane Avrit are well experienced in the Dallas area and are always available to help councel and advise home buyers, whether you are a first time or a veteran.
